“Stranger Things” Star Millie Bobby Brown Rumored to be Cast in Marvel’s “The Eternals”. According to The Marvel Hub, actress Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things and Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been cast in the upcoming Marvel Film, The Eternals.
The cast list currently posted for the film on IMDb.com shows actress Angelina Jolie as Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani and Dong-seok Ma in unassigned roles. Listed on the site as “rumored” to be cast in the film is Richard Madden as Ikaris and Salma Hayek in an unnamed role.
Marvel was also reported to have spoken with Keanu Reeves about a role in the upcoming superhero film, but no confirmation has been stated.
For those who may not be familiar with the franchise Production Weekly presented this synopsis: “The story of The Eternals is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as the Deviants. The two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race. The story involves the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes in moving amongst humans.”
