Disney has updated their My Disney Experience mobile app, and it now includes many new features that are long overdue.

Now users can renew their Annual Passes directly through the app, which is incredibly helpful.

However, the best updates come in the form of being able to finally track dining credit usage if you have the Disney Dining Plan as part of your vacation package, and to be able to check on your current hotel balance due at checkout.

If you’re like us, you often use the Disney Dining Plan and it’s incredibly frustrating to have to constantly try and remember what you’ve used or ask a Cast Member for a printout of your remaining credits. On our last trip, we were accidentally charged twice for a meal and were told on the last day we were out of credits. Had the app had this feature then it would’ve saved us a trip to concierge to straighten the mess out.

In addition to all of that you can also now track your spending through the application as it now has access to your hotel portfolio (billing).  This way you can track all of the charges you are making to your resort account.
