For the first time, Disney Cruise Line guests can experience the rich culture of Barcelona and inspiring history of Rome as bookend experiences in a single cruise. During Disney Cruise Line’s visits to Rome, guests sailing aboard the Disney Magic will have the opportunity to explore one of the city’s most iconic and historic landmarks, the Colosseum. During Disney Cruise Line’s visits to Rome, guests sailing aboard the Disney Magic will have the opportunity to explore one of the city’s most iconic and historic landmarks, the Colosseum. (Disney) During Disney Cruise Line’s first-time visit to destinations in Italy in summer 2018, guests will have the opportunity to experience the rich history and culture of Rome. The Trevi Fountain, an iconic landmark known for being the most famous fountain in the world, will delight Disney Cruise Line guests as they toss a coin (an age-old tradition) to ensure a trip back to the iconic city. (Chloe Rice, photographer) The freestanding leaning bell tower, Tower of Pisa, is a landmark guests won’t want to miss while sailing aboard the Disney Magic during cruises that call on Livorno, Italy. Guests looking to explore Pisa after seeing the famous tower can experience the city’s rich history and architecture. (Chloe Rice, photographer) The Disney Magic will set sail on two open-ended sailings to and from Barcelona, Spain on June 16 and June 23, 2018. Guests aboard will have a chance to visit La Sagrada Familia, a uniquely designed Roman Catholic church imagined by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi in the late 1800s. (Disney) As part of Disney Cruise Line’s sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Barcelona, Spain in summer 2018, guests will have a chance to experience a reflection of Gaudi’s artistic passion at Park Güell.
